Solo Piano, ART (music) One was recorded iMarch 6 2022, after performing earlier in the day at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

I've been performing regularly at SAM since 2017 and this recording is an example of the original, improvisational music I create there. Along with my original music, I perform works by various classical, jazz, and contemporary artists too. However, I love long form musical exploration. Where I can take a simple thought and lose myself in the moment. There are those that have taken this form of musical expression to great heights and I love taking the chance in performance and seeing what comes about.

That said, my music there, is always influenced by my surroundings ie: what's in the Gallery? This particular recording came about after being asked which of my recordings would work with art classes held for the Harrisburg Steam Charter School. As I sat in my studio that evening, this music just came to me. I had the proverbial tape rolling and here we are... (actually not tape as I record in Digital format but I digress)

So now, as I'm eager to continue this line of composition, hopefully this is the first in a series of piano recordings to come.
